So when Janae wanted to run the Spud Run I wasn't really excited about it. But she talked me into it and signed me up.
Saturday morning my alarm went off and I was still grumbling about going. I pulled on my running gear, ate a little something, drove to Shelley, met up with Janae and her brother Quinn and made it to the start line seconds before the race started. It was a beautiful morning and I was feeling fantastic. I admit it, I didn't push it; I went slow and enjoyed myself. At one point, I actually said to Janae how great it felt to be jogging again. It really was a great time and, who knows, it may have been what I needed to get jogging again. I guess we'll see. I'm not making any promises here.
